Where is Therapy? Sitting at Safeway!

We're sitting in a Safeway parking lot in Livermore, CA. We stopped for groceries but the noon time crowd decided to join us. Easy in...not so easy out. But do we care???  NOT! We ate food, had coffee, brushed my teeth, and now I'm sitting here logged onto Safeway free WiFi while we wait for some of the cars to get out of our way. Comfy chairs, all the comforts of home, and no schedule, and it's a good thing because the cars, they just keep on acomin'!!  Life is good.

There were LOTS of open spaces when we came in!

Russ says he didn't park as straight as I did (tee-hee)!!

And this is where we were last night.  It was a nice park but kinda rich for our blood!  Still, it had good internet and it was close to Kate and Terry, which was why we were there in the first place.  Thanks again to Kate and Terry for visiting with us and sharing all the things you have learned.  For those who don't know, Kate and Terry have the same model of Lazy Daze that we do, only they have more experience.  It's always nice when you can hear the voice of experience.

It was nice to be in the woods and smell the campfires this morning.

We had a nice site and a good night's rest

Well, if we ever get out of this parking lot, we will be on our way to Corning, CA.  We plan to spend the night at Rolling Hills Casino.  This is where we stopped on the way down to meet with Dave http://refereedave.blogspot.com/ and Carol http://carolksjourney.blogspot.com/ .  It is SO nice to have friends on the road and to learn from them.

  1. What a wonderful picture of your new motorhome parked in the trees! And the picture of Therapy parked at Safeway shows how flexible you can be with that size of motorhome. Say hi to Corning for us and don't forget to stop at the Olive Pit this time. It has plenty of RV parking in the back, which makes it an esay place to stop. We found the gas in Corning (at TA, NOT at the casino) to be reasonably priced, compared to central California.

  2. Big difference between where you were parked last night and now!

  3. It's so nice to have your own place & not be in a rush to get anywhere. Reminded me of last summer in Yellowstone. It was drizzly & we pulled over, started the generator & had coffee with sausage biscuits...it was soooo nice. Glad you are enjoying it & just think -- this is just the beginning with more to see & do.

  4. What a great sounding "maiden Voyage." Sounds like you are just piling up the miles.

  6. Safeway is one of my favorite stores. Didn't know they have free wifi. Good to know in case we get stuck without internet. Good luck on getting out of there. Loved the camp you stayed at the night before.

  7. I love the ability to sit there and have all the comforts of home. To be able to use the wifi, watch tv, nap, whatever...this is definitely THE LIFE!!!
