And the HAZY mornings with a slight chill in the air. But all is well as you snuggle down under the covers and dream of ….whatever you wish!
Unfortunately, the tent has to come down today. Not running the sprinklers is beginning to take its toll and I can only imagine the smashed grass under the tent. The good thing here in the Pacific Northwest is, within a few weeks, you’ll never be able to tell there was a problem. And it was worth it besides.
And then there’s Crazy!! After a tough day of dreaming and swimming and hanging out, there is Shave Ice to enjoy….
More crazy… (the obligatory pool toss)
And if that’s not crazy enough….
Ah yes, those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy days of summer…they are over too fast. Hope you are enjoying yours as I am enjoying mine.
Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see those crazy girls enjoying their time with each other at Grandma's house!
ReplyDeleteThe kid's sure seem to be enjoying their stay at Grandma & Grandpa's place. you guys sure know how to spoil em. Just like me. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
ReplyDeleteGrandma and grandpas place sure looks like the best deal in town for the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteI see you and Russ have forwarded on you crazy genes to the grandkids. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteI hope the girls don't quit their day job....hehe What fun...more wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteI love to watch kids when they are having fun like that. It's total chaos when my kids and grandkids are over. My eldest son's girls say they have a normal grandmother and a "cool gramma". I am the latter, I'm afraid. I don't ask whether that's good or bad. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm certain that it's good!!
DeleteHaving the grands around always makes us feel young again. But after they go home we are glad we are the Grandparents and not the parents. Enjoy them and all their energy while their young.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
Glad to see 'em come, glad to see 'em go!! But then I can't wait until next time.
DeleteHahaha!! Love it! Looks like a great time, and I agree with Shoeless Joe on the crazy genes being alive and well in the next generation! :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, and I think someone got a double dose!!
DeletePerfect medicine for your recent sadness! You surely are a cool grandma.
ReplyDeleteSo, how many days of this madness do you have left?
ReplyDeleteThey all go home on Friday. The boys haven't been here every day but they are joining us tomorrow and we are loading six kids, one dog, and two old grandparents into the motorhome and going for an all day picnic. WHEW!! If you don't hear from me again, you'll know why...
DeleteI don't know how you do all of them at the same time. You need a medal!
ReplyDeleteLooked like a fun week, enjoy your picnic.
ReplyDeleteYou are spoiling them rotten! Great job. :c)
