A New Gadget!
Thank you Donna aka Froggi for helping me get a map on my blog. Looks like I'm a "westerner" for sure! I'll have to do something about that, huh? Not sure if my visit to Texas really counts. We flew into San Antonio when our son graduated from basic training at Lackland in 1989 (?). We loved the city and the Alamo but it was a very short visit. Hope to go back one day. Looking forward to expanding my horizons.

ReplyDeleteEveryone has there own method to filling in their states. Find your own!
Ours is when we cross a border we take a photo of the state welcome sign, get a pin for our map and spend the night together as a couple. Before we became a couple we had crossed some states but in order to get onto our map, we have to do them again together.
We have the New England states, Alaska and Hawaii left, then we have many repeats to see again and then we will work on Canada or think of another adventure to travel. This one has taken over 6 years with no signs of stopping.
Canada is beautiful. We've been in the two western provinces. Donna got a great photo of a young moose on our way to Banf. Even saw a young bear, but sadly failed to get a picture, since he was moving very fast.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like fun Kimberly. I am so anxious to get started. I love reading about everyone's travels and it makes me more anxious to begin our adventure. We have taken many "vacations" but the freedom to just GO has not be ours until now. Thanks for commenting.
