Just a Quick Update

In case you didn't see it on my other "trademarked" site, I did need to set up another URL for my blog.  I changed the name on the title page but of course that did nothing to change the URL - which is what would pop up if someone did a search on travel therapy.  There really is a New York travel writer with trademark ownership of this name so ...mea culpa...I should have done more homework than I did.  She was nice about it but she meant business.  I understand that if a person fails to "vigorously defend" their trademark, they can lose the right to that trademark.  I don't understand all the ins and outs, but I'm okay with it.  Keeps me sharp to have to figure stuff out!!

So this is what I did today (other than working on my site!).  I found a lady bug on my kitchen counter.  She was on her back waving her little legs all around so I got her to grab onto a paper napkin and took her outside and put her on a bush.  I was worried that she was not going to make but I wanted a picture so I ran back inside and got the camera.  By the time I got back, she had flown away so I guess she was fine.  I am sorry to report that the spider I found in the bathroom did not get equal treatment!

Tomorrow I hope to get back to writing about some of our past travels.  No word yet on the motor home.  Russ has picked the 2nd as the day we will get "The Call".  My date has already passed so I guess I lost the bet.

  1. We are mean to spiders too! We even dispatched a small tarantula one day. And now, after disclosing that fact, I'll probably learn that tarantulas are a protected species and I'll go to jail. But when the damn thing is hiding in my BBQ grill --- what else am I going to do -- invite it to dinner?
