See Ya Later

Just a short note to let those who may be interested that this blog is closing.  Whether that is permanent or temporary is yet to be determined.

We are okay and not suddenly struck with some dread disease.  It is just that our lives are headed in a different direction now and we are not sure where that will lead.  Besides that, the quill is dry and the ink pot is empty.

I will cherish the friendships I have made during the last several years, both virtual and in person.

Yes, the dogs are fine and we treasure every moment with them.

Take care all and safe travels to you all.

  8. Oh, so sorry to see you leave... hope all is well... Have really enjoyed your humor thru the years, such grand stories you tell... Was in the valley last week, but seemed to have lost ability to get in touch with you, for a meet up of some sort, probably would have involved food of some sort, sorry to have missed you. If you are ever over in this part of the 'woods' stop for a chat.. love talking with you!!

  26. Oh Donna & Russ I am sad to read this but like Nina I do understand there comes a time in everyone's life to change course for whatever reasons. Interests & priorities change. Things happen beyond our control while other things just run their course. Blogging can be very time consuming & emotionally draining some times. Don't know what prompted you to pack it in but whatever it was I'm sure I would understand. Just in case we never see another post or hear from you again we here at the Bayfield Bunch wish you, Russ, & the new Pups all the best & thank you for the great gifts you sent us. And each & every one of your comments over the years was always a warm gift as well Thinking of you...............

  27. I'm so sorry to read that you are shutting down...have enjoyed all your posts so very much. I should have shut mine down over a year ago since I haven't posted in that time....it is hard to find something to write about every day and there was so much sadness for such a time that I didn't want to inflict that on the readers. I shall have to read the past posts....did not realize you had new babies....they are beautiful! I'm going to try to write a tribute to my sweet boy Killer who went to the Rainbow Bridge January 19th. It's a hard thing to do, he was/is a dear family member. Prayers for you and Russ wherever life takes y'all. Hope u get a rest and decide to come back but if you should not, just know that you both have brought much joy to so many of us out here in blogland and for that, we thank you! Also Donna, thank you for the book you sent to me, I will pass it on as you said. Much love to you both-God be with you til we meet again either here or down the road.

Hope you'll feel like giving us an update once in a while to let us know how you're all doing. Best of luck in your endeavors.
